Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and post-production, with proficiency in various editing software and tools. This role involves collaborating with our content creation team to produce high-quality video content that engages and captivates our audience. If you have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess the skills to bring ideas to life, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product that aligns with project goals.
  • Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and vision.
  • Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid for video editing tasks.
  • Enhance video content through the use of motion graphics, typography, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D.
  • Conduct photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture One as needed for integrated projects.
  • Manage video files through FTP systems and ensure proper organization within content management systems.
  • Participate in filming sessions as needed, contributing creative input during shoots.
  • Maintain an understanding of current trends in video production and editing techniques to ensure high-quality output.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Bridge, and Avid.
  • Experience with video editing software such as Final Cut Pro and knowledge of motion graphics design.
  • Familiarity with 3D animation tools like Maya or Cinema 4D is a plus.
  • Strong skills in videography, photography, graphic design, and content creation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of typography principles and their application in video production is preferred.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous work in video editing or related fields is required.

Additional Information

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $240.00 - $400.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 per week
