Job Description

Rattle Social is seeking a creative and reliable video editor to enhance client content. The ideal candidate will edit captured content into polished, on-brand videos for social media. While this is a remote position, local applicants or those with additional skills in drone operation, photography, or social media management are highly preferred. The role emphasizes creativity, fast turnarounds, and adaptability to various clients and industries.

Requirements

• Video Editing Skills: Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Capcut, or similar software.
• Social Media Knowledge: Strong understanding of social media platforms and effective content strategies.
• Efficiency: Able to work quickly and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-Oriented: Keen eye for detail and aesthetics; adaptable to different styles while keeping content fresh.
• Bonus Skills: Photography, drone operation, design, or social media management experience.
• Communication: Good communication skills and openness to feedback.
• Team Fit: Enjoys a casual and creative environment focused on innovation and collaboration.
• Experience: At least 1–2 years of editing experience, with a portfolio demonstrating skills and style.
• Content Creation: Experience with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc., and ideally event or promotional editing experience.

Compensation & Structure

Pay starts at $150 per short-form video (15–60 sec), with growth opportunities as the company expands. Additional compensation may be available for rush edits or longer videos, and the role offers a flexible schedule.

Other Information

This position is a freelance or contract role with pay ranging from $500.00 to $2,000.00 per month.
