Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor/Creator for remote contract work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and post-production, with proficiency in various editing software and tools. This role involves transforming raw footage into shorts and short videos for YT that engage and inform our audience, builds brand recognition, and ultimately drives sales.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Final Cut Pro, Avid, and other relevant software.
• Familiarity with 2D animation, 3D animation (Maya), motion graphics, videography, photography, and graphic design is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of post-production processes including color grading, sound design, and video compression techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
• A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box while adhering to brand guidelines.

Duties

• Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product, ensuring high quality and adherence to project timelines.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project goals and creative vision.
• Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid for video editing tasks.
• Incorporate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D.
• Conduct photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One for integrated multimedia projects.
• Manage video assets through content management systems (CMS) and FTP transfers.
• Maintain organized project files and adhere to best practices in post-production workflows.
• Stay updated on industry trends in video production, graphic design, and content creation.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Contract

Pay: $200.00 - $600.00 per month

Expected hours: 2 – 10 per week
