Sound Designer for Indie Fantasy Video Game

We are looking for a talented sound designer to take over the sound effect design for an indie fantasy RPG that is already released in Early Access.

Sound effects would include environmental ambience, character noises, magical spells, death audio, and everything else that you would typically expect for this genre. Candidate will be expected to thoroughly play the game and audit the existing audio implementation for current content and effect any applicable improvements. Candidate will then be expected to produce sounds for all future content and work with the development team to implement the sounds through FMOD.

Candidate will be expected to take initiative, being creative in coming up with ideas for sound in new areas or with new enemies, in addition to implementing direction from the team.

Candidate must bring a positive work ethic and ability to work positively in a small indie team environment. Candidate should be able to attend meetings on a flexible schedule, including on weekends. Candidate must have experience with and ability to use FMOD studio/audio engine.

This job provides hours on a part-time, when-needed/as-needed basis, which will be determined largely by progress in other areas of development.
