Hiring: Technical Consultant for Car Rental Marketplace (Supabase / Next.js / Vercel)
We are building a car rental marketplace and are seeking an experienced technical consultant to guide our in-house development team. Our stack includes Supabase (backend), Next.js (frontend), Vercel (deployment), and uses Varcl as the base template. We already have developers but now require a technical expert to ensure strong architectural decisions, help with scalability, and oversee integrations. Your role will focus on reviewing architectural decisions, advising on scalability and customization, planning integrations with services like the South African Post for address verification, GPS tracking, electronic contracts, and accounting system integration. You’ll also advise on advanced search and best practices for extending Supabase and Next.js projects. This is a consulting role (no hands-on coding) and communication is preferred via WhatsApp and occasional calls or meetings. We are looking for someone who can help us make the right technical choices for long-term code quality and feature scalability as we grow.
