Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess a strong skill set in both video editing and post-production processes. This role requires proficiency in various editing software and an eye for detail, ensuring high-quality content creation that aligns with our brand’s vision.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom.
• Familiarity with post-production processes including color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Experience with filming techniques and equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of graphic design principles and typography is a plus.
• Understanding of 3D animation software such as Maya is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting or online distribution.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements.
• Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid to create engaging video content.
• Implement motion graphics using Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D to enhance visual storytelling.
• Conduct photo editing and manipulation with tools like Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One.
• Manage video production tasks including filming, videography, and graphic design elements.
• Ensure all content is optimized for various platforms by adhering to content management systems.
• Maintain organized project files and archives using Adobe Bridge and FTP for efficient workflow.
• Stay updated on industry trends in video production, typography, 2D/3D animation, and content creation techniques.

Additional Information

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $5.00 - $8.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week

Work Location: Remote
