Job Description

This is a PER DIEM Role - paid based on the content and Reels you are able to edit. We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling through visual media and possess a diverse skill set in video production and post-production. You will be responsible for editing video content that engages and captivates our audience, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with our brand’s vision.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring a cohesive narrative flow.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements.
• Utilize various software tools to enhance video quality, including color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Conduct post-production tasks such as video rendering, exporting, and archiving.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in video editing and production.
• Assist in filming and videography when necessary to gather additional content.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator, and Bridge.
• Experience with Final Cut Pro and Avid for video editing tasks.
• Knowledge of post-production processes including color grading and audio editing.
• Familiarity with motion graphics creation using tools like Cinema 4D or Maya for 3D animation.
• Strong understanding of graphic design principles and typography for effective visual storytelling.
• Experience in photo editing and manipulation to complement video content.
• Ability to work with content management systems (CMS) for organizing media assets.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within a creative team.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating compelling visual narratives.

Projected Total Compensation: $1,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month
