Job Description

Here at Tucan’s Papers, we are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor / Social Media Manager to help edit and manage content for TikTok. This role is perfect for someone who understands short-form video trends, knows how to keep viewers engaged, and can help us grow our presence on social media.

Requirements

• Proven experience with video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Understanding of TikTok trends, culture, and algorithms.
• Strong attention to detail with creative storytelling ability.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience managing social media accounts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for TikTok (and potentially other platforms such as Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts).
• Add captions, text overlays, transitions, and engaging visuals that fit TikTok’s style.
• Stay up to date with TikTok trends, sounds, and editing styles to keep content fresh and relevant.
• Help manage posting schedules to ensure consistent uploads.
• Monitor performance of posts and suggest ways to improve engagement.

Additional Information

Location: Remote

Job Type: Part-Time / Contract (with potential to grow)

Compensation: $15.75-$22.75

Expected hours: 1 – 15 per week
