About the Channel: We create long-form history videos ranging from 20 to 90 minutes, adopting a calm, professional documentary style. Our content focuses on African history and global stories, targeted at viewers who want to learn or enjoy relaxing with historical documentaries. Videos include narration, images, stock footage, and background music. We are looking for a dedicated video editor who is skilled in creating documentary-style content, with attention to detail for syncing visuals with narration and maintaining engaging pacing and transitions. The ideal candidate should understand English fluently, deliver work promptly, and be comfortable editing scripts and narration into complete videos using images, maps, and effects. You will be responsible for introducing smooth and professional hooks, delivering both project files and final videos (using Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut), and are expected to have a good internet connection for file transfers. Previous experience with YouTube history, documentary, or educational content is strongly preferred. Willingness to accept feedback and improve the quality of your work over time is important. This is a long-term role with a steady video production schedule (about one video every three days), and the possibility of earning a performance bonus based on the video’s ad revenue.
