Job Description

AgileEngine is an Inc. 5000 company creating award-winning software for Fortune 500 brands and trailblazing startups across 17+ industries. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails + React) to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. You will work closely with product owners, designers, QA, and developers to build solutions that drive business impact, participating in all stages of product development from concept to release and iteration. With an entrepreneurial mindset, you will run experiments, leverage metrics to guide decisions, and help evolve our applications and internal tools to create better experiences for both customers and teammates.

Requirements

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with strong expertise in backend technologies like Ruby on Rails, and frontend frameworks such as React.
• Experience with building RESTful architectures and/or GraphQL APIs, designing efficient, scalable, and secure interfaces for both internal and external use.
• Proficiency in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS or Google Cloud) and experience with building scalable applications that support complex workflows.
• Most of the team works Pacific Time. Ideally, there should be some overlap between 8 AM – 4 PM PT, but this is not a strict requirement.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with Java, C# development.
• Product growth and lifecycle management experience, particularly in building and growing products from initial launch through maturity.
• Technical leadership experience, managing features from concept through development to delivery.
• Team leadership experience, guiding a group of engineers to deliver innovative solutions.
• Engineering-driven mindset with shared ownership of outcomes alongside the product team.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders from Product, Design, Analytics, and Legal.
• Ownership mentality, proactively monitoring and maintaining the quality of your work in production.
