Job Description

Our agency is looking for an SEO specialist to join the team on a freelance basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with an advanced understanding of SEO who is seeking challenging and creative projects. You will be given the autonomy, respect, and support needed for a successful relationship.

We offer a full-service approach to SEO for our clients, combining development, design, linkbuilding, and content teams to support our SEO managers in running client campaigns.

Requirements

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting campaign strategy with a strong focus on content SEO
• Creating content briefs
• Troubleshooting SEO issues and finding creative solutions
• Managing authors or building AI flows
• Managing linkbuilders
• Managing junior SEOs when appropriate
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams like design and development to execute SEO projects
• Understanding of GA4 and reporting

Best candidates will possess:

• A deep understanding of SEO and experience with national SaaS companies or startups
• Agency work experience
• The ability to project manage internal teams and client expectations

Compensation

Our pay starts at $1,000 and goes up to $1,500 per month per client. It increases with the number of clients you take on (up to 6 clients). For example, if you’re working on 6 accounts, you’re making $1,500 x 6 per month. If you’re working on 4 accounts, you’re making $1,300 x 4 per month.

About the Work

Our clients are primarily national SaaS companies, often startups that have received funding and want to grow their reach. We specialize in working with “challenger” brands that are taking on larger incumbents in their industry, necessitating creative and aggressive approaches.

Budgets range from $3,000 to $7,000 per month per client, allowing us to leverage different parts of our team and be creative with our solutions. This role requires tailoring campaigns to align with client business goals, with support from a staff of linkbuilders, designers, developers, and content writers.
