Job Description

Fidelity TalentSource is currently seeking a Full Stack Engineer to work in Westlake, TX. This role involves building best-in-class platforms and capabilities for an Omni channel customer experience in financial planning, investing, and retirement solutions. The Full Stack Engineer will be a member of a dynamic team focused on continuously improving the cloud deployment platform and automating processes to support an expanding product portfolio.

Requirements

• Passionate about technology: Ability to navigate complex and rapidly-changing landscapes and share knowledge.
• Creator, doer, and game-changer: Experience in tackling real-life problems and creating shippable prototypes from ideas.
• Understanding of cycle time: Familiarity with CI/CD practices to deploy changes while minimizing risk.
• Knowledge of Algorithms, Data Structures, and Design Patterns: Experience in building highly scalable systems.
• Test First Development mentality: Experience with modern test frameworks.
• Data-driven decision making: Ability to measure and collect data for informed decisions.
• Strong communication skills: Technical expertise to participate in significant discussions.

The Skills You Bring

• Expertise in Javascript, Node, Vue.js, and Angular.
• Strong understanding of Linux administration, including Bash scripting.
• Application development experience with microservice architectures.
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development, CI, and CD.
• Good knowledge of HTTP-based APIs, Networking, and internet workings.
• Extensive experience with JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools.
• Experience with Automation Tools/Frameworks.
• Familiarity with Linux, Shell Scripting, Docker, and AWS Cloud certification (a plus).
• Java Spring Boot experience (enhancement of existing APIs).

Dynamic Working

Fidelity’s hybrid working model blends onsite and offsite work experiences. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of every other week in a Fidelity office.
