In the Fidelity Brokerage Technology group, we welcome you onto an agile track that is at the forefront of engineering in Capital Markets and Brokerage Technology, with a high level of focus on TDD, Continuous Integration/Delivery, and engineering standards.

Requirements

The Expertise You Have

• Have at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of development experience.
• Proficient in Java, SQL, and have proven expertise with cloud technologies such as AWS.
• Development experience with web application frameworks such as Spring Boot, Production experience with Kubernetes and Serverless on AWS.
• Experience with iterative SDLC.
• Previous exposure to trading systems or brokerage technology is strongly preferred.

• Work with product owner, squad lead, and architecture on a frequent, recurring basis to design and influence technical improvements.

• Develop a keen understanding of the business domain and actively guide technology discussions with business partners and other external parties.
• Investigate creative practices and decide how to apply them within the team.
