Blog developer and designer

I am seeking an experienced blog developer to design, build, and optimize a visually elegant and high-performing blog platform. The ideal candidate should be both technically skilled and have a strong sense of design, capable of creating a site with clean structure, thoughtful typography, and an excellent user experience. The project includes front-end development, CMS setup (such as WordPress, Ghost, or similar), and design integration. You’ll work directly with the author/founder to produce a polished digital space that aligns with the brand’s tone, which is sophisticated, artistic, and easy to navigate. Responsibilities include developing a responsive blog website, customizing or creating themes, implementing SEO best practices, integrating multimedia content, setting up essential plugins, optimizing site performance, and providing basic training or documentation for content updates. Proven experience building blogs or editorial sites is required, along with strong front-end skills. Experience with WordPress, Elementor, Divi, Ghost, or Webflow is preferred. Familiarity with light animation, brand development, or bilingual content sites is a plus. The deliverables include a fully functional, mobile-responsive blog with CMS setup, core pages, plugin integrations, and all supporting documentation. The project is freelance/contract, to be completed remotely with a target timeline of around 4–6 weeks from start.
