Job Description

The role involves designing and developing interactive, responsive web applications using Blazor Server, with a focus on collaboration with UX/UI designers, implementing features in C#/.NET, and maintaining RESTful APIs. Responsibilities also include data integration, ETL/reporting, ensuring quality, security, and observability, and working collaboratively using Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities

1) Design & Development

• Design and develop interactive, responsive web applications using Blazor Server.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into functional interfaces.
• Implement features and fixes in C#/.NET with clear documentation.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs; contribute to UI enhancements using JavaScript, HTML, CSS (experience with jQuery/Bootstrap is helpful).
• Work within existing patterns (dependency injection, configuration, logging) and follow team coding standards.

2) Data Integration & ETL / Reporting

• Write performant T-SQL (queries, views, stored procedures); profile and tune where needed.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
• Integrate data across internal systems and external platforms using APIs, flat files, or other connectors.
• Ensure data consistency, integrity, and quality across integrated systems.
• Create visually compelling and data-rich reports using Jaspersoft.
• Translate business requirements into meaningful KPIs, charts, and tabular views.

3) Quality, Security & Observability

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and SOX through secure coding, access controls, audit logging, and traceable change management; maintain data integrity, protect sensitive information, and support regulatory audits with clear documentation and observability tooling.
• Follow secure coding practices (input validation, parameterized SQL, secrets management, least privilege).
• Add useful telemetry (structured logs, metrics) and participate in incident review and remediation.

4) Delivery & Collaboration

• Use Azure DevOps (Repos, Boards, Pipelines) daily; participate in standups, and sprint meetings.
• Break down work into right-sized tasks, estimate reasonably, and communicate status early and often.
• Partner with analysts/PMs/QA to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria; update ADO boards to keep business comms accurate and current.
• Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to peers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional development experience, with a proven track record of delivering production-grade software.
• Deep, recent experience with .NET 8 and Blazor Server (server-side) in production.
• Extensive hands-on experience across the full stack, including modern front-end development using Blazor and JavaScript, and robust back-end engineering with .NET/C#, RESTful API design, and relational database interaction (SQL Server).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices.
• Clear communicator with strong debugging/problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Front-end experience with Bootstrap and jQuery.
• Experience with Azure services (Key Vault, Storage, ADF).
• Experience with analytics/reporting tools (Jaspersoft).
• Experience with handling of PII in regulated environments.

Bonus

• Experience with Snowflake.
