Job Description

This is a remote position. We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to be the sole owner and builder of a new dual-sided staffing marketplace app. This role requires building both the Provider (client) and Carer (worker) apps from scratch for web and mobile (iOS/Android) to replace an existing platform. The developer will drive the rapid development of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in 8-10 weeks.

Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM UK time.

Key Responsibilities

1. You will architect and build a complete product suite across three platforms:

• Provider App (Web + iOS/Android): Allows client organizations to post needs, get vetted matches instantly, book, and pay.
• Worker App (iOS/Android): Allows workers to build a verified profile, choose shifts, get clear briefs, and get paid fast.

1. Key Features in the MVP:

• Core Workflow: Post a need → Get matched → Book a worker.
• Compliance: Build a secure “Compliance Vault” for workers (managing certifications, background checks, and expiry tracking).
• Payments: Implement Stripe Connect for all payments, auto-invoicing, and split payouts.
• Integrations: Set up two-way Calendar Sync (Outlook/Google) and basic in-app messaging.

Requirements

• Expert: React Native (for mobile apps) and Node.js/NestJS (for API).
• Proficient: React/Next.js (for web app) and PostgreSQL.
• Experience With: Integrating payment (Stripe Connect) and compliance (Onfido/Yoti, etc.) APIs.
• Mindset: Pragmatic, fast-paced developer capable of owning the entire build plan from stack selection (AWS/Azure, Terraform) to launch.
