Job Description

Seeking a talented video editor/social media manager to join my growing marketing agency based in NYC that focuses on providing content and marketing strategy for restaurants and the hospitality industry. Opportunity to work with some of the top restaurants rated by Eater, The New York Times, and Infatuation.

Please provide video portfolio along with resume.

Responsibilities

• Story-driven, BTS short-form content to establish restaurants’ brand identities.
• Performance, conversion-driven content: Continuously test formats, hooks, edits, and tones.
• Create and manage the content calendar for multiple restaurant Instagram accounts.
• Perform color correction, sound editing, and other post-production tasks to ensure high-quality output.
• Establish influencer/creator relationships for brand collaborations.
• Maintain a lean creative system: Organize raw footage, templates, music libraries, and project files.

Requirements

• Proficient in Video Editing (CapCut + Final Cut Pro preferred).
• Deep understanding of social and paid video trends.
• A portfolio that shows range: storytelling, sales-driven, and viral instincts.
• Strong sense of brand (consistency, memorability, distinctiveness).
• Experience in photo editing and graphic design are a plus.

Additional Information

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $200.00 - $500.00 per month
