Job Description

Hiring for an Editor for a Sport’s Podcast, preferably located in LA County around Glendale or Pasadena. Candidates from Riverside County may also be considered. The starting rate is $500 for the first episode, with the budget subject to change.

Requirements

Required:

• Strong Communication Skills (in English)
• Longform editing experience, including syncing, multi-camera editing, light grading, rendering, basic graphics/Adobe assets, EQ, and AI tools like audio and auto-transcribe.
• Speed and efficiency; open to transferring footage in person.

Preferred:

• Experience with the Adobe Ecosystem, including sending PR projects.
• Residing in SoCal, preferably in LA or Riverside County for potential in-person collaboration.
• Experience with After Effects, 3D, Motion Graphics, etc. is a plus.
• Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and having fast internet is beneficial.
• Having your own account for Artlist or Envato is a plus, but assets can be provided if needed.

Deliverables

• 1 long form edit, edited in Premiere (estimated 60 mins runtime, with 1-3 studio angles and 1 Zoom recording) along with a radio-friendly audio version.
• 7-14 short form edits, depending on practicality; overseas editing may be considered.
• .PRProjects uploaded upon request.
