Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Next.js, React, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB.
• Implement responsive user interfaces and efficient backend APIs, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and extend features for educational or training platforms, focusing on usability and learner engagement.
• Write clean, testable code and conduct code reviews to maintain high quality.
• Integrate third-party services and tools as needed (e.g., payment gateways, analytics).
• Optimize applications for speed, security, and reliability.
• Work independently to manage project timelines and deliverables.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a full-stack developer with the MERN stack and Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, plus modern web development best practices.
• Demonstrated success working in freelance or remote roles; reliable and self-motivated.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, front-end build tools, and version control (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Experience in educational technology or similar fields is a plus.

Education (Preferred, Not Required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent professional experience, strong portfolio, or open-source contributions will be considered in place of a degree.
