Job Description

We’re looking for a senior-level video editor who knows YouTube inside and out. The ideal candidate should understand how to:

• Tell compelling, structured stories
• Design attention-grabbing hooks
• Edit with precision, energy, and emotion

This role involves editing various content types, including:

• Long-form vlogs & behind-the-scenes business breakdowns
• Cinematic mini-documentaries with emotional arcs
• Graphics-rich tutorials and explainers
• Raw warehouse edits & BTS content
• High-energy short-form content for YouTube and social media

Each edit should balance story, retention, and visual punch through techniques such as pacing, transitions, rotoscoping, sound design, and motion graphics.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience (or an exceptional portfolio)
• 3–5 years of After Effects experience (motion graphics, rotoscoping, animation integration)
• Proven experience editing for YouTube creators or brands (public links required)
• Deep understanding of YouTube viewer retention, pacing, and algorithm behavior
• Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro (multicam, nested sequences, proxies, dynamic linking)
• Full fluency in Adobe Suite: AE, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator

Technical Proficiency

• Color correction & grading (LUTs, scopes, Lumetri)
• Sound design and audio mixing (EQ, ducking, levels, SFX)
• Clean project organization and export-ready delivery
• Efficient, self-directed workflow with fast turnaround
