Job Description

Boncom is an innovative and award-winning communications consultancy with expertise in experience design, branding, media buying, marketing, analytics, research, and strategy, partnering with cause-oriented organizations. We are seeking seasoned Video Editors to perform freelance editing for our dynamic team and notable clients. This role is pivotal in shaping our visual storytelling and enhancing our clients’ missions through compelling video content and file management.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and provided graphics, Frame.io, motion graphics, captioning, D-Script.
• Nice to have skills include Adobe After Effects, sound mixing, and color grading.
• Industry understanding of post-production processes including sound design and color correction.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members in person and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for the platform it will be used on.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Utilize Adobe Premiere and other software to create engaging video content.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Maintain organized files and archives for easy access during future projects.
• Management of post-production processes including color grading and sound editing, if project requires and Editor technical skill-set is available.
• Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects, if project requires and Editor technical skill-set is available.

Additional Information

• This is a hybrid freelance editing job with some in-office time required in our downtown Salt Lake City office.
• Job Type: Freelance
• Pay: From $20.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
• Work Location: Hybrid remote in Salt Lake City, UT
