Job Description

We’re looking for a creative, energetic video editor to join the content team for the 845 Mafia Fantasy Basketball League — a 16-member fantasy league turning competition into entertainment. We’re building a series that blends sports, humor, and personality — something fans can actually follow and look forward to each week. Think matchups, rivalries, power rankings, drama, trades, and redemption arcs — all brought to life through engaging short-form and long-form content.

Requirements

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Skilled in pacing, storytelling, and humor — especially for social content
• Able to take raw footage (screen recordings, confessionals, reactions, etc.) and turn it into entertaining stories
• Passionate about basketball, fantasy sports, or creative storytelling in general

What You’ll Be Doing

• Edit weekly recap videos highlighting top matchups, best/worst performers, league drama, and trade news
• Cut short-form clips (Reels/TikToks) with energy, humor, and storytelling that hooks viewers
• Assemble YouTube episodes or highlight reels capturing weekly narratives
• Add captions, memes, sound design, and creative effects that give the content personality
• Work with league members on creative ideas and new series concepts as the season unfolds

Compensation
