Job Description

Fidelity TalentSource is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments. We are currently sourcing for a Full Stack Engineer (web development focus) to work in Westlake, TX. As a web developer, you will help us build the web user experience and the underlying platforms needed to support our digital presence. You’ll work on building end-to-end features as part of our autonomous, multi-functional teams, owning entire features from concept to deployment.

• You have a passion for technology and can navigate your way across sophisticated and rapidly-changing landscapes by staying on top of the latest trends and thrive by sharing knowledge.
• Are a creator, a doer, and an innovator who will help us tackle real-life problems and meet real customer needs.
• Conscious of cycle time and use CI/CD practices, tools to rapidly deploy changes to customers while minimizing risk using practices like A/B tests, blue-green deployments, and feature toggles.
• Have a mentality of test-first development and are experienced in modern test frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in impactful discussions.

The Skills You Bring

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Solid understanding of HTTP-based APIs, and networking.
• Strong JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools.
• Understand Async code (Promises, Callbacks, Event Loops).
• JS Tooling (ESLint, Webpack, NPM).
• Modern Web Patterns (module federation, angular elements, domain driven design).
• Experience with Angular framework and native angular tools/features.
• Proven experience in visual design & rapid prototyping.
• Node.js frameworks (ExpressJS, NestJS).
• Automation Tools/Frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium).
• Sophisticated Git skills and experience with development at scale (task orchestrators, mono repository ex: Nx).
• API Design & Development, Microservices Architecture.
• DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery.
