Job title: Freelance Audio/Video Editor (Remote)

The Freelance Audio/Video Editor will be responsible for editing audio and video content, collaborating with the Production team to transform ideas into podcast content. This position typically involves around 20 hours of work per week at a rate of $25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Editing all video and audio content related to podcast episodes.
• Meeting with creative teams to accomplish production objectives.
• Contributing creative ideas for videos that will elevate the brand and message.
• Demonstrating advanced techniques of sound and music design in the editing process.
• Editing short-form content for social media.
• Creating inspirational daily short-form audio content.
• Editing sponsorship audio content.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in digital media, cinematography, film studies, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of editing experience.
• Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Audition, etc.
• Proven work experience editing extensive video and audio content.
• Demonstrated video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a wide variety of projects with tight deadlines and quick turnarounds.
• Experience with a remote, start-up, and/or small team is ideal.
• A positive attitude and a love for working with a team that is changing the world.

Additional Information

The Freelance Audio/Video Editor reports directly to the Podcast Producers and is expected to work as needed to deliver projects in a timely manner. The team works Monday – Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM. The position can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Expected salary: $25 per hour.
