Job Description

This is a remote position for a Brand Designer to join our creative team and lead the creative direction and execution of branding projects across various industries. The role involves building clean, elevated, and cohesive brand systems that translate strategy into memorable design. It is a project-based position, offering opportunities to contribute to a variety of clients and help shape brands from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Lead the visual direction and execute full brand identity systems.
• Design comprehensive brand books, including logo, typography, color palettes, iconography, and brand usage guidelines.
• Define photography styles and curate aligned image libraries.
• Design packaging concepts and prepare production-ready files.
• Build and deliver branded template systems (social media, email, presentation decks).
• Ensure consistency and quality across all design and marketing platforms.
• Review and guide brand implementation across websites and marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with copywriters and strategists to translate brand strategy into creative design.
• Present design concepts and revisions to internal teams and, occasionally, clients.
• Manage multiple brand projects simultaneously, from concept to final delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in branding design with multi-channel execution.
• Strong portfolio showcasing identity systems, packaging, and brand collateral.
• Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and Canva.
• Excellent understanding of visual hierarchy, grids, typography, color theory, and psychology.
• Ability to interpret strategic briefs and convert them into creative, on-brand visuals.
• Strong presentation and communication skills — confident explaining design rationale.
• Collaborative mindset with experience working alongside strategists, copywriters, project managers, and developers.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken) with the ability to engage in client-facing discussions.
• Time management skills for juggling multiple deadlines.
• Familiarity with using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly) to enhance workflow is a plus.
• Bonus: Basic motion or video editing skills.

Additional Information

As this is a permanent work-from-home position under an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. Professional fees are on hourly rates and will depend on performance during the application process.
