Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in the TypeScript ecosystem to help us scale our sustainable marketplace platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable web applications using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, or Nest.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features from concept to production.
• Ensure top-notch performance and maintainability through optimization, caching, and attention to web core vitals.
• Participate in code reviews and refactoring, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Advocate for testing and observability to guarantee reliability and quick issue resolution.
• Support and evolve CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and stakeholders, proactively solving challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in development.
• Proficient in the TypeScript ecosystem, with hands-on experience in at least some of: React, Next.js, Node.js, Nest.js.
• Experience in cloud deployed applications, GCP/AWS/Azure etc.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices including performance optimization, caching, web core vitals, and application observability.
• Experience or strong willingness to learn CI/CD tools and processes.
• Strong believer in testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) and application observability.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to turning discussions into actionable tasks.
• Demonstrated experience in code refactoring and providing constructive code reviews.
• Fluent Hungarian and Intermediate English is a must.
