We are seeking a skilled video editor to craft a polished and engaging 3–4 minute educational video for a university assignment in Food Science & Nutrition. All filming and scripting are complete; your task will be to edit supplied footage—including city walks, interviews, and voiceovers—into a cohesive short documentary. The project requires adding subtitles for accessibility, applying simple and clean transitions, integrating key on-screen graphics and text overlays (such as statistics or brief citations), and ensuring consistent colour, audio balancing, and lively pacing. The final edit should maintain a professional, credible tone while lightly incorporating creative elements like cardboard message scenes and a moment of humour, similar in style to a BBC short documentary. You will be responsible for producing a rough cut and a final revision, exporting the finished video in MP4, 1080p, 16:9. All assets and clear editing notes will be provided, and files will be exchanged online so this work can be done fully remotely. Our team values good communication and welcomes any suggestions to enhance the overall quality and engagement of the finished project.
