Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic media team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand vision and marketing goals. This role requires a strong eye for detail, proficiency in various editing software, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with content creators, graphic designers, and videographers to craft compelling visual stories across multiple platforms.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge, and After Effects.
  • Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
  • Strong knowledge of post-production techniques including color grading, sound editing, and motion graphics.
  • Familiarity with 3D animation tools like Cinema 4D or Maya is a plus.
  • Ability to perform photo manipulation and photo editing to create compelling visual content.
  • Knowledge of videography and filming techniques to support content creation efforts.
  • Understanding of typography and graphic design principles for cohesive visual storytelling.
  • Experience with content management systems and FTP for file sharing and project organization.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Duties

  • Edit raw footage into polished videos using industry-standard software DaVinci Resolve.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and animations using Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Maya, or other relevant tools.
  • Manage post-production processes including color correction, sound editing, and photo editing to enhance overall video quality.
  • Create engaging content for social media, websites, advertisements, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with content creators and graphic designers to develop cohesive visual narratives.
  • Maintain organized project files using content management systems and FTP protocols for efficient workflow.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications and brand standards before publication.

Additional Information

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 โ€“ 15 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in San Diego, CA 92101
