Job Description
Hiring for an Editor for a Sports Podcast, with a preference for candidates located in LA County, specifically around Glendale or Pasadena. This position can be remote or local at the studio.
Compensation ranges from $175 to $350 per day, depending on the number of shorts needed (3-10 shorts). Deliverables for each episode include producing 3-5 short-form videos lasting between 20-59 seconds.
Requirements
Required:
- Quick turnaround times, strong organization, and efficient workflows to sync and produce content effectively.
- Experience with short-form content including sync, multi-cam editing, basic graphics, Adobe assets, EQ, and AI tools for audio and auto-transcription.
- Strong communication skills in English. An interest in sports and the ability to edit content analytically based on topics (not only timestamps) is a plus.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with the Adobe ecosystem; sending a Premiere project is encouraged.
- Living in Southern California is preferred, ideally in LA or Riverside County for potential in-person collaborations.
- Experience with After Effects, 3D, and motion graphics would be an advantage.
