Job Description
This is a remote position. As a WordPress SEO Specialist, you’ll serve as the marketing partner for a dynamic AI automation and marketing company. This role is crucial in scaling their digital presence and lead generation efforts. You’ll have the freedom to grow professionally while contributing to meaningful projects that directly impact business success. The position offers exceptional growth potential, including opportunities to expand into paid advertising management and earn performance-based bonuses as you demonstrate your impact. You’ll work closely with the founder in a collaborative environment that values initiative and continuous learning.
- Schedule: 40 hrs/week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST (1-hour unpaid break)
- Client Timezone: Central Time (Texas)
Responsibilities
- Optimize and manage WordPress websites to improve performance, user experience, and search rankings.
- Set up Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
- Build out additional website sections and pages to support business growth and client needs.
- Implement and execute comprehensive SEO strategies with a focus on local SEO and lead generation.
- Conduct keyword research and on-page optimization to improve organic search visibility and conversions.
- Monitor and analyze website performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and ROI.
- Collaborate directly with the founder as a strategic marketing partner on growth initiatives.
- Take initiative on projects outside core responsibilities when opportunities arise for business impact.
- Transition into paid advertising management as the business scales (25% SEO, 75% paid ads long-term).
Requirements
- Solid understanding of SEO principles with proven success in local SEO strategies (Portfolio required).
- Strong experience with WordPress development, optimization, and management.
- Demonstrated track record in lead generation through organic search (not just traffic).
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative on projects.
- Strong English communication skills for direct collaboration with leadership.
- Experience with website analytics and performance tracking tools.
- Bonus if you have Webflow experience (training will be provided).
- It helps if you have paid advertising experience for future growth opportunities.
