Job Description

This is a remote position for a Senior Software Developer. We are looking for a highly skilled Full stack Developer with strong expertise in JavaScript, React, and Node.js to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable front-end and back-end applications, a solid understanding of modern web development practices, and exposure to DevOps and cloud technologies. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic and responsive front-end applications using React.js.
• Build and manage robust, scalable, and high-performance APIs and services using Node.js and Express.
• Implement effective state management using Redux or other relevant libraries.
• Integrate front-end applications with secure APIs, ensuring compliance with security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, OpenID, and Digital Certificates.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins for efficient code deployment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code for performance and scalability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of overall software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in React.js and Node.js.
• Working knowledge of Redux or similar state management tools.
• Familiarity with API security standards including OAuth, JWT, Digital Certificates, Basic Authentication, and OpenID.
• Experience with DevOps tools like GitLab and Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Exposure to API and microservices development using Node.js and Express.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud hosting environments.
• Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic knowledge of application monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
