About Us: 3:5 Creative[s] is a collaborative, process-driven agency specializing in multi-platform brand, web, and campaign design for a diverse roster of clients. We believe in teamwork, clear communication, and delving deep into both strategy and visual storytelling to drive results.
Position Overview: As Art Director, you will lead creative vision and design execution from discovery to deployment, guiding a team of designers, developers, and project managers. You’ll collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to turn complex briefs into vibrant, cohesive solutions for digital, social, print, and experiential projects. You drive the mood-boarding, creative brief, and feedback process, ensuring all deliverables meet the 3:5 standard for brand impact and visual clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of creative briefs, mood boards, and design strategy sessions for client brands
- Execute and oversee the visual process from branding and digital assets to campaign and print deliverables
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a growing team of designers and interns; provide constructive feedback and facilitate reviews
- Present concepts to clients and stakeholders, translating feedback into actionable next steps with clarity and diplomacy
- Oversee internal and external handoffs, including creative-to-development, style guides, and handover documentation
- Guide the creation of visual assets: logo packages, brand decks, web layouts, mood boards, ad creatives, and campaign materials
- Collaborate closely with strategy, tech, Paid Media/SEO, and client services teams
- Maintain and optimize creative workflows with tools like Adobe CC, Figma, Notion, Basecamp
Qualifications
- 1+ years of relevant agency or in-house experience in art direction or creative roles
- Strong creative portfolio across branding, web, collateral, and digital campaigns
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and key collaboration tools
- Experience with creative handoffs to development (e.g., design-to-dev roadmap, wireframes)
- Outstanding leadership, communication, presentation, and team-building skills
- Passion for cross-discipline collaboration (strategy, tech, copy, paid media, SEO, etc.)
- Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable with fast turnarounds
- Experience with mentoring, feedback, and constructive critique
- Bonus: Experience with brand launches in creative, nonprofit, or retail contexts; skills in motion, video, or experiential design
Additional Information
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
