Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Video Editor who can turn b roll, scripts, and raw footage into fast-paced, high retention social media content. The ideal candidate understands modern editing styles, scroll-stopping pacing, and can deliver fast turnarounds. This role is perfect for someone who stays up to date with current trends on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube and knows how to turn simple footage into engaging clips.

Responsibilities

• Edit short form videos in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Cut b roll and dialogue into clean, punchy social clips
• Add captions, sound design, transitions, and light motion graphics
• Follow scripts or creative direction and translate ideas into final edits
• Color correct, mix audio, and prep exports for each platform
• Create trendy edits based on current social media styles
• Keep project files organized and manage revisions efficiently
• Communicate with the creative team for alignment on style and delivery
• Occasionally assist with filming support if needed
• Use AI tools when relevant for cutting, captioning, enhancement, or creative generation

Requirements

• Proven experience editing short form videos for social platforms
• Strong portfolio showing reels, TikTok edits, or high retention short form content
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Basic knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics tools
• Ability to work quickly while keeping quality high
• Understanding of pacing, storytelling, trending formats, and platform styles
• Strong communication and ability to take feedback
• Organized with consistent file management
• Bonus: experience using AI tools for editing, captions, visuals, cleanup, or asset generation
• Bonus: experience with color grading, sound design, or thumbnail creation
