Social media marketer - casual hours - Nature based company

Social Media Freelancer is needed in Australia.

We are GirlsTrek, a company offering bespoke women-only trekking and experience holidays in Australia and worldwide. We have a loyal client base, but our social media channels have not yet been strong drivers for new business. We are seeking a freelance social media marketer based in Australia for a part-time, remote role initially on a casual basis, with a focus on both organic and paid marketing on Instagram and Facebook. You will be responsible for managing and growing our social channels, driving engagement and top-of-funnel marketing to women aged 40 to 70 years who are interested in small group nature-based holidays. Performance will be measured based on engagement and sales. Hours are approximately 8 per week, and a strong understanding of the Australian market and women’s travel is important. We are a bespoke womens only trekking company offering trek and experience holidays to women in English speaking countries. We deliver supported, fully hosted journeys in Australia and the world. Our model is to be the invested in our clients outcomes for a seemless holiday experience, personal achievement and celebration. We have an extremely high repeat and referral client base and to date our social media is a very low converter of new business.
