Job Description

This is a specific contract role for 3 months (may be extended) at The Recap Group, a leading digital entertainment company collaborating with global media partners like Fremantle and ITV. The successful candidate will prepare episodes of talent shows for our media asset management platform, based on-site in Brooklyn, with provided equipment. The individual should have a keen eye for storytelling through video editing and must navigate YouTube’s evolving landscape to create engaging and viral content.

Requirements

• Editing Proficiency: Exceptional video editing skills with the ability to edit around 12 episodes daily in a high-speed environment.
• Adaptability: Comfortable with rapid changes; a true team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Experience: Proficient in Adobe Premiere.
• Familiarity: Google Sheets is a plus.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and data entry skills are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Downloading/Uploading through Cyberduck.
• Cataloging/Organizing Content.
• Audio leveling between multiple audio tracks.
• Cutting up content into subclips.
• Asset Management: Efficiently organize and manage video resources for quick and effective content delivery.

• Contract Rate: $25 USD per hour, with invoicing and payment bi-weekly.
