Giving Tree Lending - English/Korean Video Editor

Client: Giving Tree Lending

Location: Remote

Contract: Freelance

Job Description

We are looking for a creative partner, not just an editor. If you can take long-form content and turn it into viral-worthy Shorts, Reels, and TikToks that stop the scroll, we want to talk to you.

This role is 100% remote and contract-based (1099). We offer an uncapped earning potential with a performance-based commission structure. Creative ownership is encouraged; we want producers who understand storytelling, pacing, and retention. We also promote the use of AI tools to facilitate efficient content creation.

Requirements

What You Will Do:

• Repurpose Content: Transform 10–20 minute long-form videos into high-impact 20–60 second vertical clips.
• Bilingual Editing: Create flawless subtitles and narrative flows for both English and Korean audiences.
• Engage the Audience: Add hooks, pacing, graphics, emojis, and sound design that drive retention.
• Ship Fast: Deliver platform-ready assets for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok efficiently.

What You Bring:

• Technical Mastery: Proficient in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects.
• Bilingual Fluency: Native-level proficiency in English and Korean (specifically for subtitles and context).
• Social-First Mindset: You understand what makes a video go viral (hooks, pacing, trends).
• AI Proficiency: Comfortable using AI for subtitles, rough cuts, and workflow optimization.
• Portfolio: A reel or links demonstrating your ability to cut fast, clean, and smart.
