Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Remote UX Designer to join our fast-growing product team and shape the digital experiences of millions of users worldwide. Reporting directly to the Head of Product Design, you will partner with product managers, engineers, and user researchers to translate complex business problems into elegant, user-centered solutions. Your work will directly impact our flagship SaaS platform, driving higher engagement, lower churn, and measurable revenue uplift. Responsibilities
- Conceptual Design & Ideation: Lead end-to-end design cycles for 3–5 major features each quarter, from user research synthesis to high-fidelity UI mockups in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Interaction Design: Craft intuitive interaction flows and micro-interactions, ensuring accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA).
- Usability Testing: Plan, conduct, and analyze remote usability sessions, translating findings into actionable design improvements.
- Design Systems Management: Contribute to and maintain our component library, ensuring consistency across web and mobile experiences.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Create clear design specifications, user flows, and UI guidelines, and hand them off to engineering.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Partner with product analysts to interpret metrics and iterate designs to improve key performance indicators.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present design rationales in review sessions, championing user-first perspectives.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct monthly design critiques and mentor junior designers.
- Rapid Prototyping: Build clickable prototypes within sprints to validate concepts before development begins.
- Cross-Platform Consistency: Ensure seamless experiences across devices, applying responsive design principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of professional experience as a UX/UI designer or product designer on consumer-facing SaaS products.
- Proven mastery of Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD for high-fidelity UI and wireframing work.
- Strong portfolio (PDF or live website) showcasing at least 5 end-to-end projects that demonstrate user research and design excellence.
- Proficiency with InVision, Zeplin, and Storybook for prototype creation and design hand-off.
- Experience conducting remote usability testing and translating insights into design iterations.
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and how to embed them in design systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment while maintaining clear communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified NN/g UX Certification or similar recognized UX credential.
- Experience with Miro for collaborative workshops and journey mapping.
- Background in e-commerce or enterprise SaaS domains, especially targeting users in Dover, Delaware.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Vue) to align design specifications with development constraints.
- Demonstrated leadership in design teams or cross-functional initiatives.
- Knowledge of A/B testing platforms and ability to interpret statistical results.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $95,000 – $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and portfolio strength.
