What You’ll Do:

• Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where ideas are discussed and challenged openly
• Deliver new features and improve reliability of core services
• Identify and address major system bottlenecks or flaws in business logic
• Take ownership of core product problems and develop impactful solutions
• Work across the stack to solve problems independently
• Lead a team of developers to engineer software to solve complex user problems
• Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs effectively to stakeholders

Evidence of Engineering Accomplishment:

• Track record of delivering high-impact software solutions
• Ability to design and implement distributed systems with an understanding of failure modes
• Experience with microservice architectures and complex systems migrations

Technical Excellence:

• Expert-level proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, etc.)
• Expertise in cloud engineering and secure service integration
• Strong architectural and system design capabilities

Leadership & Communication:

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience mentoring engineers or serving as a tech lead
• Ability to influence technical direction and advocate for sound engineering practices

Adaptability & Growth:

• Record of learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies
• Embrace of AI and automation tools to enhance productivity
• Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to explore new domains

Additional Information

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Experience:

• Python: 10 years (Required)
• Java: 10 years (Required)
• AI: 6 years (Required)
• Project leadership: 7 years (Preferred)

Security Clearance: Confidential (Preferred)
