Requirements
Skills Required
- Elite editing skills: Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar) with strong instincts for pacing, emotion, and visual rhythm.
- Data-driven creativity: Understanding of social metrics and platform trends, using them to inform storytelling.
- Speed and precision: Ability to quickly deliver multiple edits without compromising quality or creativity.
- Cultural fluency: Understanding of how tech, leadership, and startup culture intersect and translating that visually.
- Creative instinct: Ability to craft narratives that engage viewers and provoke thought.

Responsibilities
Your Mission
To craft short-form, high-retention video content that showcases the essence of each episode of Inside the Silicon Mind and the visionary work of Harrison Clarke across social media.
Outcomes
- Social storytelling mastery: Create clips, teasers, and reels that convey powerful insights and drive conversation online.
- Performance-driven editing: Utilize analytics to maximize watch time, shareability, and reach.
- Brand consistency: Ensure edits align with the Inside the Silicon Mind aesthetic and Harrison Clarke’s tone of thought leadership and innovation.
- Creative agility: Deliver a consistent flow of content from ongoing podcast episodes and events.
- Platform fluency: Develop tailored edits for channels like TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Day to Day Activities
- Edit captivating short-form video clips from long-form podcast recordings and founder interviews.
- Collaborate with production and marketing teams on key moments to amplify.
- Add subtitles, captions, and creative motion graphics to enhance storytelling and engagement.
- Refine content based on audience insights and platform analytics.
- Experiment with new styles, trends, and storytelling formats.
- Maintain a fast-paced workflow while ensuring high quality in each edit.

Canary Wharf, London. The team values a highly collaborative, in-person-first culture, allowing close work with the founder and creative team across time zones.
Interview Process
The interview process includes an intro call with the Director of People and Performance, a first interview with the team, a task round where candidates edit a clip, and a final interview with Firas Sozan, the Founder and Podcast Host.
