Job Description

A high-net-worth influencer and entrepreneur is seeking a highly skilled and creative YouTube Video Editor to support a fast-growing digital media brand. The ideal candidate has experience editing long-form content for YouTube, understands storytelling and audience retention strategy, and can transform raw footage into compelling, polished videos that perform. You’ll collaborate with a small, fast-moving content team to enhance pacing, incorporate graphics, and deliver high-quality videos on consistent deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube content (8–20 minutes) in a fast-paced workflow
• Craft engaging storylines that improve audience retention and watch time
• Add captions, graphics, music, sound effects, B-roll, and motion elements
• Perform audio cleanup and color correction when needed
• Create repurposed short-form content for TikTok / Reels / Shorts
• Work collaboratively with creative direction and implement feedback quickly
• Maintain brand tone, voice, and formatting consistency

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience (YouTube preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, emotional storytelling, and viewer psychology
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines efficiently
• Experience editing lifestyle, vlog, documentary, or high-energy content
• Motion graphics & typography skills are a major plus

Compensation

$500–$800 weekly, depending on experience & workload (Paid weekly; long-term role with growth potential)
