Job Description
The Digital Content Creator is responsible for capturing, curating, and creating engaging digital content that brings The Alexander Dawson School’s story to life. This role supports content production for the School’s social media platforms, website, and digital communications, with a focus on showcasing student life, school events, and community activities. Working closely with the Advancement Team (Admissions/Enrollment, Development, and Marketing/Communications), the Digital Content Creator provides essential photography, videography, and social media support to promote the Dawson brand and the strategic direction. This position ensures all digital content aligns with the School’s Mission, Vision, Core Values, Strategic Direction, and brand guidelines while maintaining an active, authentic online presence across all platforms.
Requirements
Qualifications, Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred but not required
- Advanced skills in Google Docs, Forms, and Sheets, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel for Apple or comparable software
- Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, and Canva
- Ability to write digital content copy
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions in different forms
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and successfully meet deadlines
