Job Description

Rush Street Interactive (NYSE: RSI) is a market leader in online casino and sports betting, currently operating real-money gaming with brands such as BetRivers.com, PlaySugarHouse.com, and RushBet.co. We combine the thrill of real-world casino gaming with cutting-edge digital storytelling and are seeking freelance Video Editors who are fluent in the language of poker. This project-based role focuses on editing long-form live-streamed poker broadcasts, online content, linear television episodes, and fast-paced social media highlights that reflect the intensity and personality of the game. The position requires both creative and technical expertise, emphasizing efficiency, precision, and engaging storytelling for gaming audiences worldwide.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

• Must submit a portfolio of previous work editing poker content; applications without accessible portfolios will not be considered.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Deep understanding of pacing and storytelling in poker, including timing for cuts and highlights of emotional beats.
• Experience in editing short-form videos optimized for YouTube, TikTok, X, and Instagram.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with quick turnaround expectations.
• Experience with multi-camera and live-broadcast post workflows.
• Familiarity with graphics integration, lower thirds, and poker hand replays.

Compensation

Compensation is negotiated as project work, with time estimates and statements of work agreed upon before the work begins. The pay range per project is $200—$500 USD. Core projects include editing seven-hour live streams, one-minute social videos, and 30- and 60-minute linear TV episodes. Corrective edits based on feedback will be expected.
