Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Description

Atlanta Housing seeks a talented Videographer, responsible for content creation, videography, and editing. The ideal candidate is capable of storytelling and following live events while delivering network quality results. The Videographer will produce high-quality video projects from concept development to post-production editing for all of Atlanta Housing’s social and digital platforms. This role includes coordinating with senior management, capturing activations, and editing videos for social media, often requiring weekend work and collaboration across all agency departments.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to shoot in a variety of formats for PR and marketing campaigns and internal use.
  • Coordinate with Public & Media Relations and Social and Digital Media teams to drive workflow and delivery of content.
  • Creatively tell visual stories through shooting and following story or action.
  • Setup and shoot network style interviews, including green screen.
  • Edit videos and highlights using Premiere, logging and editing quick turn videos and content.
  • Operate a variety of camera systems while maintaining accurate equipment storage and upkeep.
  • Prioritize workload to meet timelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in a content production environment.
  • Familiarity with multiple camera systems and strong editing skills on Premiere.
  • Strong shooting skills with experience directing talent.
  • Ability to independently manage all production aspects of a shoot, including multiple cameras, wired and wireless audio, and lighting.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
  • Confidence to make quick decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to carry 40 lbs. of equipment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Department: Communication, Marketing & Public Engagement

Reports to: SVP, Communications, Marketing & Public Engagement

Salary Grade: M

Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000

Working Conditions:

Works in an office environment. May require frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and prolonged sitting and/or standing. May require regular lifting, usually not exceeding 20 lbs. Some travel may be required.
