Job Description

Electrify Video Partners is a dynamic new digital media company focused on investing in and scaling creators with an established YouTube presence. Our mission is to transform creators into global media businesses through team building, scaling production and distribution, and introducing new revenue streams. We acquire 50% to 100% of creator businesses with established YouTube presence. We are building a decentralized global team and seek A-players who share our vision and values. Join us at Fireship, a leading software engineering and tech channel with over 3.8 million subscribers, known for fast-paced tutorials and breakdowns of programming and technology trends.

We are looking for talented and creative freelance Video Editors to join our remote content production team. The successful candidates will play a key role in producing and editing Fireship’s YouTube content, contributing to audience growth and engagement.

Requirements

Proven experience in video editing with a strong editorial portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital content creation, particularly for YouTube and short-form videos. Candidates should possess:

• Experience in story-based video editing.
• Ability to create tutorial-based or tech-oriented videos (advantageous).
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong attention to detail, maintaining consistency in branding elements.
• Experience working with programming or tech-related content is desirable, with an understanding of complex topics.
• A passion for technology, programming, and digital content creation.
• Competence in popular coding and programming languages, with software developer experience being a plus.
• Flexibility in working hours to collaborate with teams across different time zones.
