Job Description

The Atlanta Dream is seeking a Senior Content Producer who will act as the creative engine behind the team’s brand content. This role involves ideating, producing, editing, and distributing high-end visual and narrative content that elevates the Atlanta Dream brand, connects with fans, and supports growth goals. The Senior Content Producer will lead content production across various formats, collaborate with internal teams and partners, and enhance the visual voice of the brand.

Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Ideation

• Lead ideation sessions and creative concepting for campaigns, seasonal content, player stories, and brand initiatives.
• Translate campaign objectives into content strategies, story arcs, formats, and delivery plans.
• Stay ahead of trends in sports, entertainment, and digital storytelling, proposing new formats.
• Partner with the Social Media Team to align content ideation with overall content strategy.

Video Production + Post Production

• Oversee the full video production lifecycle.
• Produce high-quality content optimized for web and social platforms.
• Direct shoots with minimal crew and manage video partners.
• Lead in-house editing and adapt long-form content into short-form versions.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with various teams to ensure content supports broader goals.
• Partner with the Social Team for game day deliverables and storytelling.
• Execute partnership content deliverables from ideation to final delivery.
• Integrate content calendars and promotional needs into production workflows.

Leadership

• Manage production calendars and prioritize projects.
• Oversee vendor/freelancer contracts and deliverable timelines.
• Provide guidance to junior producers and help grow content team skills.
• Serve as a point person on creative standards and workflows.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in video/film/creative content production, preferably in sports, entertainment, or media sectors.
• Proven portfolio of high-quality video, photo, and multimedia content.
• Strong storytelling instincts and creative vision.
• Technical expertise in editing tools and sound/color correction.
• Experience directing, shooting, and supervising production crews.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Excellent project management, scheduling, budgeting, and organizational skills.
• Experience collaborating across functions (marketing, social, partnerships, creative).
• Ability to travel and work evenings, weekends, and game nights.
• Passion for sports, storytelling, and digital media trends.
