Kilo Content is a full-service branded content agency specializing in creating, producing, and distributing award-winning content. We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Video Editor to join our dynamic media team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in video production, post-production, and graphic design, with the ability to craft compelling visual stories across various platforms. This role requires a keen eye for detail, advanced technical skills, and a passion for innovative content creation. As a Senior Video Editor, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with brand standards and audience engagement goals.

Duties

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading
• Create engaging motion graphics and visual effects utilizing Adobe After Effects
• Perform photo editing, manipulation, and retouching with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture One
• Develop and implement creative concepts for video content, including storyboarding and visual storytelling techniques
• Manage content workflows through content management systems and FTP platforms
• Collaborate with videographers, graphic designers, and content creators to produce cohesive multimedia projects
• Ensure all video projects meet technical specifications for various distribution channels
• Maintain organized project files and archives on a NAS
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance production quality
• Communication with clients for project feedback through email and Frame.io

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional work experience in video editing, post-production, and motion graphics design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge), and other relevant editing tools
• Skilled in photo editing, photo manipulation, typography, graphic design, filming/videography, and content creation
• Knowledge of content management systems and FTP platforms for efficient project delivery
• Strong understanding of video production workflows from filming to final delivery
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Understanding of AI platforms, capabilities, and prompting for video

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $36.00 - $48.00 per hour
