Job Description

Our vision at Contempee is to provide affordable luxury for the modern interior, featuring expertly crafted trend-led collections that have made their way into over 400,000 homes. We are known for our luxury faux flowers and our e-commerce brand continues to flourish. We are seeking an experienced Creative Strategist + Video Editor to enhance our social video output across both Paid and Organic channels. This role involves collaborating closely with our in-house editing team and Creative Lead to bring innovative ideas to life with compelling videos that capture attention. Key Responsibilities

• Generate fresh concepts for Paid Ads in alignment with content pillars, audience, brand style, and tone of voice.
• Plan and edit high-quality video content tailored for various channels, including organic social media (Instagram, TikTok) and paid social media across META.
• Collaborate with the in-house editing team and Creative Lead to enhance testing across different styles, personas, and messaging.
• Monitor trends and successful brands in the e-commerce space to engage audiences effectively and showcase products.
• Propose innovative concept ideas backed by well-reasoned hypotheses and data to guide testing.
• Communicate ideas regarding concept, filming, and editing through detailed briefs and pitches to the Creative Lead, Head of Marketing, and Director.
• Coordinate with influencers and actors to ensure accurate execution of concept briefs during filming, providing feedback and requesting content adjustments as necessary.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Work with the wider marketing team to optimize content based on performance data and insights.

Requirements

• A creative mindset full of fresh ideas, eager to blend creative strategy and editing.
• A robust portfolio showcasing experience in creating engaging, high-quality video content for both Paid and Organic channels.
• A proactive and flexible attitude, capable of adapting to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.

Skills

• 2+ years of proven experience in video editing for brands, with a focus on Paid Ads.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; experience with other video editing tools is advantageous.
• A comprehensive understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Meta ads, and best practices for short-form video.
• Ability to apply motion graphics, transitions, captions, and color grading proficiently.
• Videography experience is a plus.
