Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Video Editor to join our innovative content team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind transforming raw footage and images into compelling visual stories that captivate audiences across multiple platforms. Your expertise in editing, motion graphics, and post-production will be essential in elevating our brand’s visual identity. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with talented professionals dedicated to producing high-quality content that inspires and engages.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, engaging videos aligned with project goals and brand standards.
• Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and typography using tools like Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, or Maya to enhance storytelling.
• Manage photo editing, manipulation, and retouching using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, or Adobe Bridge to create stunning visuals.
• Collaborate with content creators, videographers, and designers to develop creative concepts and ensure cohesive visual narratives.
• Optimize videos for various platforms including social media, websites, and broadcast by adjusting formats, resolutions, and codecs.
• Maintain organized project files within content management systems and FTP servers for seamless workflow continuity.
• Stay updated on industry trends in video production, 3D animation, 2D animation, and graphic design to continually elevate content quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects across digital media.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign; Final Cut Pro; Avid; Maya; Cinema 4D; and other relevant editing software.
• Skilled in photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One; knowledge of photography principles is a plus.
• Familiarity with post-production workflows involving color grading, sound editing, motion graphics, and visual effects.
• Understanding of content creation processes from filming to final delivery across multiple platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a creative team.

Pay: $8.38 - $12.36 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 20.0 per week
