Job Description

Are you a passionate storyteller with a keen eye for visuals and a flair for dynamic editing? NGage Properties Group (NPG) is a design and build firm recognized for its work with distinguished architects and global design influences. We are seeking a skilled, motivated Video Production and Editing Intern to support high-profile media projects and gain hands-on experience in professional video production. The focus is filmography, and โ€œeyeโ€ for telling a story through dynamic editing (lighting, angles, music, etc.). This role begins with a flagship video series and has the potential to extend into ongoing digital media and brand content for NPG. Responsibilities

  • Edit video content into both long-form and short-form formats.
  • Produce highlight clips for digital and social platforms.
  • Capture high-quality footage through professional videography and filming techniques across various settings and themes.
  • Edit raw footage into engaging final videos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design to enhance storytelling using Adobe After Effects and other tools within Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Manage all aspects of post-production, including color correction, audio syncing, and adding titles or graphics with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Collaborate with clients or team members to understand project goals and deliver content aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Maintain organized media libraries and ensure timely delivery of completed videos.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in video production, editing techniques, and visual effects to continually elevate your work.
  • Proven experience in videography and video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects; filmography is a plus!

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator; familiarity with Final Cut Pro is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of post-production workflows including color grading, sound editing, and motion graphics creation.
  • Experience filming with professional cameras and equipment in different environments.
  • Knowledge of photography principles and experience using Adobe Lightroom for photo editing is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently as a freelancer while managing multiple projects efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and excellent communication skills.

Job Highlights

  • Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour.
  • Expected hours: 10.0 โ€“ 15.0 per week.
  • Flexible schedule.
