Job Description

GrandSlam Wrestling is seeking a Junior Video Editor to support its growing digital and live event content output. This freelance and flexible role is ideal for someone with around one year of video editing experience who wants to build their portfolio in live sports and entertainment. The role involves attending live wrestling events to film content and engaging in office-based editing to produce videos for YouTube and social media platforms, typically averaging 1–2 shows per month. Work schedules will align with event dates and content needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend selected GrandSlam Wrestling live events to film matches, promos, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Edit long-form content for YouTube.
• Create short-form vertical videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Assist with highlight packages, social clips, and promotional videos.
• Manage and organise footage efficiently.
• Deliver content to agreed deadlines while maintaining brand consistency.

Required Skills & Experience

• Around 1 year of video editing experience (professional, freelance, or educational).
• Comfortable using preferred editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
• Basic understanding of social media video formats (horizontal and vertical).
• Will to film live events using personal camera equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Interest in wrestling, live events, or sports content (highly desirable).

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving license.
• Own computer and software for editing.
• Based in the South of England.
• Willingness to travel to event venues (travel expenses paid).
• Able to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Contract & Pay

This is a freelance/self-employed position with ad hoc work and no guaranteed hours. Payment rates are dependent on experience, and travel expenses will be covered for event attendance.

Job Types and Benefits

Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract.

Pay: £10.85-£12.75 per hour.

Expected hours: No less than 1 per week.
